Energy Harvesting 2011

Interested in advances in energy harvesting research and development? Want to understand whether or not energy harvesting can address your particular applications? If so then the following event could be a great opportunity to find out more.
The Energy Harvesting Network and the Electronics, Sensors, Photonics KTN have organised an event on energy harvesting. This will be held on 7th February 2011 at the IET, Savoy Place, London.
This event will cover energy harvesting from both an academic research and an industrial application perspective. Many of Europe's leading academics and research institutions in the field are presenting e.g. Universities of Cardiff, Leeds and Southampton, Imperial College and the Holst Centre as well as a presentation from Virginia Tech. Industrial end-users of energy harvesting technology such as Rolls Royce and GE will also present their experiences. In addition there will be an opportunity to hear pitches from some leading European energy harvesting technology suppliers (e.g. Micropelt, Perpetuum and Arveni) and see demonstrations of their technology.
