Gas separation membranes are evolving beyond conventional polymers such as polyimide and cellulose acetate to new membrane materials including palladium, mixed matrix membranes, and facilitated transport membranes. From conventional applications such as natural gas processing to nascent opportunities including post-combustion carbon capture, gas separation markets are continuing to grow.

Membranes have distinct advantages when it comes to gas separation technologies including high energy efficiency, simple operation, and small land footprint. New applications for gas separation membranes and new membrane materials are being developed globally as the world increasingly focuses on decarbonization and energy security. According to research by IDTechEx, emerging decarbonization gas separation membrane markets will grow at a 17% CAGR to 2036.

The webinar draws on research from IDTechEx's new report, "Gas Separation Membranes 2026-2036: Materials, Markets, Players, and Forecasts", which provides a comprehensive outlook for gas separation membrane markets, with an in-depth analysis of the technological and economic aspects, alongside new materials, that are shaping this market.

In this webinar, Senior Technology Analyst and lead author of the report Eve Pope will share insights on:
  • Market opportunities for gas separation membranes
  • Commercial maturity of gas separation membrane materials
  • Key trends in the development of new gas separation membrane materials
We will be holding exactly the same webinar three times in one day. Please register for the session most convenient for you.
