At the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas, Voltaic Systems introduced the public to their new solar charger case for tablets.
According to Voltaic Systems, the Spark Solar Tablet Case is perfect for mobile workers and global travellers who are switching from laptops and netbooks to tablets and need a way to keep them charged up while on the go. With 8 Watts of power, the Spark provides about an hour of iPad runtime for every hour in direct sunlight.

As with Voltaic's other products, the Spark includes a battery to store power. It holds one complete iPad charge and can be re-charged from sunlight or a wall charger. It has two USB ports, one with "normal" USB output of 650 mA and a second "high-power" port which puts out 2A.
The Spark Solar Tablet Case is not yet on the market.
